CBD is short for Cannabidiol. It's one of the many cannabinoids found in hemp and is known to support the mind and body in many ways.

On the other hand, the oil is not to be mistaken with CBD or hemp because it's the substitute oil used to mix the hemp extract (which contains CBD). This allows the hemp extract (CBD) to be evenly mixed in oil, making CBD dosing easy.

CBD companies choose between MCT Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, or Olive Oil usually. We use MCT Oil which is short for medium-chain triglyceride, and a form of coconut oil because it's tasteless and has many health benefits.

CBD is one of the 100+ cannabinoids found in hemp. While the majority are found in minor amounts, CBD is the most abundantly found in hemp.

Other cannabinoids include CBG, CBN, CBC, CBDA, THC, and many others.

You may have heard of, come across, or used a product that was only CBD, which the accurate term for that is CBD Isolate. However, CBD Isolate does not contain other cannabinoids, terpenes, or flavonoids that synergically work together to enhance the effects altogether.

Hemp Extract, on the other hand, is the extracted oil from hemp. This hemp extract oil contains CBD and should contain other plant compounds such as other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.

It's crucial to note that just because a CBD product is called "Full Spectrum" or "Broad Spectrum" does not mean it contains terpenes or flavonoids. These compounds are sensitive to heat, and most manufacturers fail to properly extract them without wiping them out.

Cannabinoids, including CBD, have Biphasic Properties, which means as the dose increases, the effects don't necessarily improve.
