Does CBD Show in a Drug Test?
Drug tests do not screen for CBD, but full-spectrum CBD products may contain enough THC to cause a false positive during drug testing. If you use enough full-spectrum CBD, the trace amounts of THC present in this whole-plant CBD extract can accumulate in your body in sufficient concentrations to be noticed during drug testing.
To avoid the possibility of testing positive for THC after using CBD, choose isolate or broad-spectrum CBD products instead. Broad-spectrum is the better option because it contains all the other compounds present in the hemp plant — just not THC. Isolate CBD, on the other hand, only contains the CBD molecule.
