CBD is legal in all 50 states. It’s perhaps least legal, however, in Idaho — an Inland Northwest state that has taken a stalwart stand against cannabis and everything with which it’s associated. In Idaho, you can only buy CBD products if they contain absolutely zero detectable THC. That’s right — full-spectrum CBD is illegal to sell in Idaho. We’ll get into why Idaho has taken this radical stance and what it means for people wanting to buy CBD in Idaho throughout the course of this guide. What Is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second most-common naturally occurring cannabinoid. THC is the only cannabinoid more common in cannabis than CBD, and over the last decade or so, many breeds of Cannabis sativa have been developed specifically to be high in CBD and low in THC.
